WARRANTY POLICY

All products purchased from CompTech are covered by a manufacturer's limited warranty or our RTB (Return to Base) warranty. The warranty conditions are subject to the manufacturer's warranty conditions or our RTB warranty conditions.

Proof of Purchase

For all warranty services, you must present the invoice or receipt. CompTech reserves the right to withhold or refuse warranty services while your credit account with CompTech is in arrears.

Warranty Conditions

CompTech will not provide warranty service for products that were purchased from or supplied by sources other than CompTech. The customer cannot claim warranty service if their account with CompTech is not cleared in accordance with credit terms approved by CompTech.

Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not cover software, loss of data, power supply units blown by power surges (unless the product is plugged into a surge protector or UPS at all times), blackouts, water damage, human error, lightning strikes (or similar events) which may lead to blown motherboards or other components. If the product fault is found to be due to user error, the user will be responsible for any service fee and the product will not be released until fully paid.

Removal of any labels, evidence of internal tampering, or similar unauthorized use voids the warranty. The warranty only covers natural defects of manufacturer components due to wear and production faults. CompTech is not liable for any data loss and the warranty does not cover software-related problems such as viruses, corrupted registry, or similar issues.

Call Out and Delivery:

Return to Base warranty means that in the event of a product fault within the warranty period, the customer will have to return the product to CompTech's premises. There is a $45 call-out fee within the Apia district, and an hourly fee of $120 for every hour thereafter, with no service charge for warrantable products. Different charges may apply for areas outside the Apia district. Call-out/hourly charges are subject to change without notice, so please contact us for updated rates.

Refund Policy:

In order to obtain a refund, exchange, or to repair a product purchased from CompTech, including those products that carry a manufacturer's warranty, you must have clear proof of purchase. Once proof of purchase has been established, if the product fault can safely and clearly be determined in-store, we will repair, exchange, or refund the product.

Non-Warrantable Returns:

We will not refund a product simply because you have changed your mind, so please choose carefully. If you are not sure of a particular product, please ask any of our friendly staff. In some instances, we may offer credit or exchange, but the product must come back in its original condition with packaging intact and all documentation attached. We will not accept any returns after 3 days, and the warranty only covers product faults caused by natural manufacturing defects.

Warrantable Products:

We carry manufacturer's warranty and also our RTB warranty. In some cases, we may need to order parts from the manufacturer or send the product out for repair. Warranty periods vary based on the product type, so please ask.

Liability:

CompTech will not be liable for loss, damage, or injury to the customer or to any other person or property arising from the use or possession of the products. No warranty is expressed or implied as to the quality or fitness of the products for any particular purpose or otherwise.

General:

"CompTech" refers to CompTech Samoa Saleufi. "Products" refers to the products and/or services supplied by CompTech to the customer.

Governing Law: These conditions shall be interpreted and governed by the Law of Samoa
